CSCP History |
1962
|
– Chi Sheng Pharma & Biotech Co., Ltd. (CSCP) was founded and set up the manufacturing plant at the North Gate Street in Hsin Chu, northern part of Taiwan, producing the parenteral pharmaceuticals.

1967
|
– CSCP moved the manufacturing plant to Shan Hsin Bridge, Hsin Chu. At that time, CSCP was one of the Class A pharmaceutical manufacturers in Taiwan and was selected to supply the products to the army.
|
1968 |
– CSCP started to export products to Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia, Argentina, Haiti, the Philippines, Nigeria, etc. with good reputation.

1971
|
– CSCP developed the infusion tube, blood collector, butterfly needle and plastic infusion bottle, etc. and has granted the first registration certificates of these products in Taiwan.

1972
|
- CSCP has successfully developed the highly transparent plastic bottles, especially for the pharmaceutical infusion use.
|
1987
|
– CSCP was technically cooperated with GAMBRO of Sweden to manufacture Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis solution (CAPD) and Hemodialysis concentrate solution (HD).
|
– CSCP has accepted the pharmaceutical contract manufacturing projects from the large hospital chains, like Chang Gung Hospitals.
|
– CSCP moved the manufacturing site to Hsin Chu Industrial Park.
|
1988
|
– CSCP awarded the GMP pharmaceutical plant certification from the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Taiwan. The registered capital was 193 million NTD (about 6.4 million USD).

- CSCP has granted the patent registration for an enema (Taiwan Registration No. 49725).
|
1990
|
– CSCP has used the modern automatic warehousing equipment in Taiwan.
|
1991
|
– CSCP has received the greening environment awards from the Industrial Development Bureau of MOEA, Taiwan.
|
1995
|
– CSCP has signed a licensing agreement with a Chinese management company based in New York, USA to transfer the infusion manufacturing machinery and equipment to China. This was the first project successfully set up a demonstration plant overseas.

– CSCP has granted the patent registration for a transdermal patch product to prevent carsickness (Taiwan Registration No. 078156).

1998
|
– CSCP has been approved to become a public listed company in Taiwan.
|
1999
|
– On March 6, CSCP became the first pharmaceutical company publically traded in Taiwan stock market.

2001
|
– CSCP has granted the certification of ISO9001.
|
– CSCP has passed the pharmaceutical cGMP Stage I certification by the Department of Health.
|
2002
|
– The Board of Directors has elected Mr. Tung-Mao Su as the President of CSCP. |
2003
|
– CSCP has granted the food GMP certification.
|
– CSCP has passed the pharmaceutical cGMP Stage II certification by the Department of Health. |
2004

– CSCP has passed the pharmaceutical cGMP Stage III (final stage) certification by the Department of

2005
|
– The brand skin products and health food products, “Chi Sheng Beauty” and “SOVENUS”, were launched.

2006

– The brand health food products “OTTILA” were launched.

2008
|
– Chi Sheng Fish Oil Capsules awarded the nutraceutical innovation prize from Taiwan Dietary Supplement Association.

– CSCP participated a government funded project – Tea Polyphenols, and received an outstanding development reward. |
2009

– CSCP’s Fish Oil Capsules received the first registration of Taiwan Health Food Products (Reg. No. HF000001).

– CSCP's Q10 capsules awarded the nutraceutical innovation prize from Taiwan Dietary Supplement Association.

– CSCP received the registration of Dobutamine Injection, which was the first manufacturer in Taiwan. This was later awarded in 2010 by the DOH.

– CSCP has set up a fat emulsion range production technique and equipment, which received the award from the DOH.

2010

– CSCP's Monacolin K Capsule received the registration of Taiwan Health Food Products (Reg. No. HF000011).

– CSCP's Glucosamine Tablet awarded the nutraceutical innovation prize from Taiwan Dietary Supplement Association.

– CSCP set up an overseas company, Chi Tai (Shanghai) Biotechnology Limited Company in China.
|
– On December 24, CSCP was accredited the PIC/S GMP certification by the Taiwan FDA.
|
– On December 30, CSCP passed the appraisal from the Industrial Development Bureau, MOEA, to set up a Tourist Plant for the skin care and health food products.

2013
|
– Chi Tai (SHA) registered capital was 8 million USD.
|
– On March 7, Chi Tai (SHA) started the new plant construction in Shanghai China to produce the HD and PD products.
|
2014
|
– On March 25, the construction of Chi Tai (SHA) new plant was completed.
