Zinc-S Injection "CHI SHENG"

Each mL contains:
Zinc Sulfate Heptahydrate……5.94 mg
(Equivalent to Zinc……1.35 mg) For addition to compatible intravenous infusion fluids or total parenteral nutrition (TPN) solutions for the treatment of zinc deficiency. 1. Metabolically stable adults: 2.5–4 mg of zinc daily. For patients in an acute catabolic state, an additional 2 mg of zinc should be administered daily.
2. Metabolically stable adults with intestinal fluid loss: An additional 12.2 mg of zinc should be administered for each liter of small intestinal fluid lost, or an additional 17.1 mg of zinc per kilogram of fecal or ileostomy output. Blood zinc concentrations should be monitored frequently to ensure that the dosage is appropriate.
3. Premature infants (birth weight below 1,500 g): 300 µg/kg of zinc daily until body weight reaches 3 kg.
4. Full-term infants and children under 5 years of age: 100 µg/kg of zinc daily.
5. Children 5 years of age and older: The same dosage as for adults, up to a maximum of 4 mg of zinc daily.
6. This product must be filtered before use. This product contains no preservatives. Discard any unused portion. Glass ampoules of 1 mL, 2 mL, 3 mL, 5 mL, 10 mL, or 20 mL; boxes containing up to 100 ampoules. 5 mL glass ampoules.
